Facilities Support Team

Volunteer Position, Average of 2-4 hours per month

20 Liters tackles the clean water crisis with our sleeves rolled up. We don’t just advocate, educate and raise funds, we get to work producing the long-lasting, innovative filter technologies that provide sustained access to clean water for millions of people around the world.

The Facilities Support Team members help us meet our goals by ensuring filter build spaces are clean and safe for our volunteers and community members.

This person will need access to a vehicle they are willing to use to transport materials short distances.

Tasks and Assignments

  • On a determined schedule, provide maintenance the filter build facilities, including:
    • Clean floors and surfaces in the filter build space
    • Remove trash bags and taking them to the available dumpsters
    • Break down cardboard boxes and taking them to a recycling facility
  • Upon request, provide support for special projects, such as:
    • Paint touch-ups
    • Moving shelving, supplies or furniture
    • Hanging pictures

Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to move items weighing up to 35lbs
  • Current Driver’s License
  • Knowledge and ability to safely use common power and hand tools
  • Comfort working with household chemicals for cleaning
