It’s never too early to start talking about clean water. Some of our most passionate advocates for clean water became advocates in elementary school.
It starts with Education. Contact Amanda at dave@20liters.org to schedule a presentation from 20 Liters to introduce your students to the global water crisis and some o the available solutions to make dirty water clean.
Next, we’ll help you put your students’ hands to work. We can schedule hands-on activities to help your students better understand how water filtration works.
Then comes inspiration. Share this letter from 20 Liters’ first water advocate, Greta Zwyghuizen. In it, she shares how she became passionate about water as a seven-year-old and how that passion has impacted her life and family.
Finally, fundraising. Plan a fundraiser so that your students not only understand the global water crisis, but also realize that they have the power to do something about it. You could host a Walk for Water at your school, start a Penny War, or Get Creative with your students to plan something entirely unique.
