Walk for Water

Chances are, you’ve never had to think about where your next glass of clean water is coming from.

Yet nearly one billion of the world’s poorest people think about it every day, as they travel great distances to collect it from the nearest river or swamp.

In just one day, more than 200 million hours of women’s time is consumed for the most basic of human needs — collecting water for domestic use. And most of the time this water is dirty.

This simply isn’t right. Join in the solution and help create access to clean water for those who are without. Register now to raise funds and experience what people in Rwanda must do every day—walk for their water. The money you raise will help 20 Liters partner with Rwandan churches to build rainwater harvesting systems and slow-sand water filters where they are needed most.

Registration is easy. Simply login or create an account.

Then Set Up Your Fundraising Campaign and begin raising support for your walk by sharing your fundraising page with friends and family through Facebook, Twitter, and e-mail.
