Our Work In Rwanda
Our Work In Rwanda
In 2008, we began our work in the villages of Masaka, Rwanda. By September 2015, we’ll have helped over 87,000 people in villages throughout Masaka, Gahanga, Ntarama, Mwogo, and Juru get access to clean water.
Every pin on this map is a village we’re impacting together. Click on a pin to learn more about each particular village, and the work we’re doing there. It’s a great way to follow our progress as we work toward our goal of providing access to clean water for the most vulnerable along the Nyabarongo River. Read more about our 3-year plan >
Help us reach our goal by joining with us to raise the $1.2 million needed for filters and follow up. Begin making an impact by giving, starting a fundraising campaign, or raising awareness now.

Our Work In Rwanda
All around the world, 20 Liters’ advocates are taking action. From setting up fundraisers for raising money for filters and rainwater harvesting systems, to reducing their consumption by engaging in a water challenge. The map above shows all of those who are taking part in our mission. Each dot represents someone who’s donated, raised money, participated in a walk for water, or taken a water challenge.
